3Di was established in 2015 to act as lead, or sole investor in opportunities across diverse industries and geographies. While diversity across these is typically considered a high risk, our experience, relationships, pedigree and infrastructure gives us confidence to deploy capital with a deep desire to incubate prosperity in the markets in which we work.
For over 10 years, 3Di has been involved in a variety of transactions across a variety of industries, with several successful exits.

Areas of Investment
Mining & Minerals
We have dedicated significant resources to key minerals such as gold, lithium, uranium and heavy sands. We believe that if the maximum beneficiation can be incubated in each of the markets we operate, then real value and prosperity can be locked into these markets and the communities around them.
Agriculture & Agro Processing
Our initial investments in these sectors focussed on primary growing operations in Central Asia and Eastern Europe. As we have brought our focus into Africa, we spend our time on developing large-scale agri-processing projects which create significant local impact, and reverse foreign exchange flows into critical markets. These also create off take opportunities for primary growing operations which is the real long term goal.
Telecoms & Technology
The quintessentially impactful sectors, Telecoms and Technology prove their importance to the future of our planet daily. Finding opportunities in this space is not easy, and we deploying capital and resources to a select group of investments that we believe will play a meaningful part in making a real difference to people’s lives on a large scale.
Healthcare
No journey into impact can be meaningful without addressing healthcare. Our investments deploy healthcare to some of the most remote places in the world. We are working to create the economies of scale to make these investments more meaningful and extend their reach.
Consumer Goods
At the very end of the production cycle, consumer goods define all sorts of things from levels of prosperity, to the care one takes with oneself. While not a primary sector for us, we have invested in some exciting products which we believe will be leaders in their respective markets, and have relevance across their regions.
Trade Finance
Exclusively established to support our own investments, we provide trade finance solutions to businesses that are not yet able to obtain banking lines, or where banking lines are prohibitively expensive (which is most often the case in frontier markets) in order to ease cashflow and growing pains.
